A creative space for all ages! Join us for a hands-on, interactive series of classes at the AGGV where we’ll take a closer look at art and meaning-making to gain a deeper understanding of the hows and whys of contemporary art. An encouraging, inclusive environment for all ages – early learners, teens, adults, seniors, artists & non-artists… all! Together we’ll investigate ideas & art-making processes inspired by current gallery exhibitions, and see what happens to the conversation when music, literature, social studies and science are added to the mix! We hope you will join us on this exciting journey of inquiry.

Beginner Bookbinding

In this introductory workshop you’ll learn about choosing materials, proper use of tools and equipment, and basic binding techniques including folded, sewn and glued. Each week you’ll create your own book from scratch, to keep or to share!

Come discover your toddler’s unique abilities in this Montessori and Reggio Emilia inspired playgroup. Each week the playgroup will focus on a different aspect of the premise that the child should be an active participant in learning, as a parent you will learn techniques for guiding and collaborating with your child as they grow and develop. All tools, materials, and equipment supplied by the instructor.
